After a long 48 hours for both Rena and I and all those we had come in contact. --waiting for Covid results, .NEGATIVE  Results...whew!!

Beautiful day for a ride to GW in Rockland with Rena...I invited Jan(she was busy).

When we are on the road...we try to stop when we see things especially when trying to hunt down our missing license plate game. (game is played between Memorial Day and Labor Day)  I need Arkansas and Hawaii--good for a covid summer with so few people traveling.

A  quick side trip to see if Morses Sauerkraut was open. It hours remain reduced due to thus is only open M-F a few hours a day.

The next stop by to Savage Oaks Winery---took a walk out to see the vineyards then purchase a bottle of wine for home.

Lunch at Claws in Rockland --sitting outside with a great view of the harbor looking out over Rockland--Ferry from Vinalhaven or  Isleboro was coming in to dock.

After a delicious lunch, I had a haddock sandwich with a diet coke, it was off to GW.  I donated a bag full of clothes, and odds and ends of household items.  I wasn't impressed with the inventory in the Rockland store.

Another bit of retail therapy walk through --TJ Max....then off to find the mysterious store where Rena bought some wine on previous trip.  I have been obsessed in trying to determine the hippie store where she found the wine.  Still a blank.    It was off to see the Belted Galloways.    (Oreo cookie cows).

  • The Belted Galloway is a traditional Scottish breed of beef cattle. It derives from the Galloway cattle of the Galloway region of south-western Scotland, and was established as a separate breed in 1921. It is adapted to living on the poor upland pastures and windswept moorlands of the region.

We headed to Belfast to the  next GW store--to end the retail therapy day.

Gas tank was running low on the trip.  When I pulled into a had station in south china...my gas tank was registering only 8 miles.

Playing away the day ended with ice cream at Fielder's in Manchester.
